The Beach
Well, no one wanted to join us.... but we had a great time anyway!!
It's gorgeous out there! Blue, clear sky and dry heat! Sorry, Ontario, but I don't miss your humidity (:
We went to Crescent beach for a few hours and practically had the place to ourselves. As we were leaving more people showed up...so we had good timing!
The tide was at its lowest at around 11, so the girls and I walked way out on the beach and caught tiny fish and little, live crabs in the tidal pools. It's always hard for Robyn to let them go again at the end of our stay, but c'est la vie!
We had a picnic lunch, kicked a ball around, buried treasures and had to take turns finding them, collected shells and those funny bulbs that *pop* when they're dry and you squeeze them, and buried our feet in the sand... ah, bliss.
After ice cream cones, we went home, and here we are....all ready for a nice nap!

Glad you had fun!
I went for a run, then weeded my gardens the rest of the morning... fun hey? Then shower, groceries, and pick the kids up from school.
Lots more sunny days where today came from I hear! Yippee!!!!
the third picture down, robin sure looks like a picture of christina i saw once!!!! glad you had a nice time!
The girls look happy - glad you had a nice time.
Looks like a gorgeous day! Did Lydia sell any orange sea shells or pink beach pails? LOL
Lol..good one!!
I LOVE Crescent Beach ....enjoy the relative closeness of it now, 'cause once you move to aldergrove, it will take you almost 40 minutes to get there!
:-(
Hi, Lisa, reading about the beach makes me miss B.C. and going to White Rock, and the dry heat instead of the humidity which we had today. Sometimes i wish i could move back there. All our old classmates are there. It would be nice to visit with each other once in awhile. Thanks for the updates.
