Power's back!

Whew! What a storm! After watching lawn furniture sail past our window and trees snap in half, our power went out for 26 hours! Some people still don't have power....60, 000 homes were affected! It was a great adventure for the girls- we spent quality family time playing games and reading by candlelight, and driving around to see the damaged power lines and debris all over the road. Robyn even spotted a trampoline on the roof of someone's house!
There's a boil water advisory out right now because the Seymour and Capilano resevoirs were stirred up quite a bit, and another storm is in the works. Right now there is a beautiful silver lining in the clouds, but its starting to rain again! So if I don't post for a few days again, you'll know why.

Not fun without power!! We had a storm (mini tornado)last year and no power for a week. We don't realize how much we depend on power, hey. Sometimes its nice to go back to the simple life. No TV and computers; just famiy time around a candle to appreciate each other. Hope the storm doesn't do anymore damage. All the best.
