Happy Birthday to my Mom!
Yesterday was my Mom's birthday. I'm not sure if she wants me to disclose her age to the whole world.... so I won't (: She doesn't look her age, anyway. Must be the fresh BC air that makes everyone look so young! Nick has commented that his colleagues look much younger than they are...he thinks they're his age until he sees their teenage children!
So Happy Birthday to you, Mom! We look forward to celebrating it with you on Friday! (It's my Dad's 60th on Friday, so we're having a party for both of them then).
Here are a few things Robyn wants to say about her Omi:
1. She plays the piano nice.
2. She gives me red licorice.
3. She drives to the the bustop.
4. She says we can borrow her cat.
5. I like to cuddle with her.
6. She says she loves me!

That's so cute what Robyn says. Oma's are always adored. My boys just love their Opa & Opa and Pop & Nana. Probably because they get spoilt with love by them so much.
yes, it's great to see their relationship develop, especially since 6 months ago they hardly knew who Grandpa and Omi were!
Happy birthday Mr. and Mrs. Faber!!
And so sweet what Robyn said about her Omi... aren't grandparents the best?
Oh and I hope you take you antihistamines before you 'borrow' the cat Lisa! :o)
Hey Lisa, was talking to our Sharon in Coaldale today and she said that she and Amanda are going to do kid swap with each other every Friday. Great for both of them. Amanda lived with us for several months way back when, so they already know each other which helps.
oops, and happy birthday to your mom as well. I know how old she is :)
Does swapping kids mean trading? Or just take turns babysitting? That sounds like a great idea...anyone out there want to do the same?! (:
Yeah me... after Darryl is gone and I have the van!
:o)
It means that one morning/afternoon. whatever, you bring your kids to the others house for whatever # of hours you agree on and you have that time all to yourself to go shopping or whatever you want to do on your own....no kids. Sharon had a few friends here in Abbotsford that did that as well and they all loved it.
